We are the RDW-recognised export desk in Hengelo, in the east of the Netherlands, for anyone taking a vehicle from there to Spain. You will find us at Slachthuisweg 135, 7556 AZ Hengelo. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30, no appointment needed. On Sundays and outside office hours you can come by appointment, at a higher rate; call or message first for the final price. With complete papers, your application is usually ready in about 15 minutes.

Car export arranged remotely, also from Spain
Is the car in the Netherlands, but you are not? Then we prepare the export online; you send the yellow plates by post or courier, and we start once they arrive. The papers reach you insured and tracked: about 5 working days with DHL, or about 1 working day with DHL Express. If the car itself is already in Spain, we can still arrange the export, through a procedure that runs entirely by post. Postal rates are on the cost of importing a car to Spain.
What to send with your export request
- the registration number and current mileage;
- the full address of the buyer abroad;
- for insurance and plates: the start date, the route and the details of the policyholder and driver.

We only use your details to answer and handle your request. The form sends your details by email to our team. A backup copy is kept for up to 90 days by our hosting provider Cloudflare and is then deleted automatically.
We do not share your details with others unless your request requires it, for example the deregistration with the RDW or arranging the export insurance. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Questions about contact and visits for car export
Do I have to book before visiting the Hengelo desk?
Not during office hours: from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 16:30, you can walk in. Ideally, call or send a WhatsApp message about 20 minutes before you arrive. On Sundays we open by appointment only, at a higher rate.
Can I handle everything from Spain?
Yes. If the car is still in the Netherlands, we prepare the export online and you send the yellow plates by post or courier. If the car is already in Spain, it is possible too, through a separate procedure by post. We ship the papers by insured DHL, also to an address in Spain.
How much time should I allow for a desk appointment?
With complete papers, a standard application is usually ready in about 15 minutes. If something is missing it takes longer, so ask us beforehand what to bring.
